Film and Video

We didn’t want to make movies but we live in LA and that’s the law. Here’s two short films directed by Dan (The Locker and Wonderview) as well as a number of other amusing video projects. While we aren’t in the movie business, we still enjoy making cinematic quality videos for our clients. VIEW GALLERY

Greeting Cards

In 1989 Dan developed a line of greeting cards called Mom n’ Dad Originals which poked fun of 1950‘s Americana. They became immensely popular around the country and as far away as Australia. For source material in this pre-internet era, Dan photographed ads from old magazines at the Public Library. Copyright infringement? What’s that? VIEW GALLERY

Geek Shirts

The BigTime Group sort of began as a t-shirt company called Gordon Originals. Dan cranked out shirts in his basement, got national distribution and here we are today. This line of “geek shirts” were never actually produced but our art director liked the designs so much he insisted they be added to our site. And it looks like he got his way. Photography & Art

Long before cameras merged with phones, Dan was shooting on film and slugging it out in the dark room. Today, he has traded in his enlarger and safelight for a hard drive and the latest version of Photoshop, Dan is still a terrific photographer and multi-media artist, and we’re not saying that just because he’s the boss.
